The Methow Valley is the premier destination for Nordic skiing in the northwest with nearly 200km of groomed ski trails. Downhill skiing is just a 40 minute drive at the Loup Loup Ski Bowl. For snowmobilers, there are 400 miles of groomed trails and River Run has plenty of parking. Winthrop's ice skating rink is just a half mile walk from the inn.
